We just finished the final push up of the new Concur.com site. This project was few months in the works with a bunch of extra help. Zaaz Creative did the design and helped out with some of the development.
The project started with a fresh Drupal 6 core, in a fresh SVN repository. I set up SVN post commit hooks so when a developer made a commit our staging server was also auto updated. This was super awesome and made co-development very easy. This also allowed our content teams to work on the sites content as we were pushing up code.
The site uses many embedded views to pull in context specific videos, pdf's and links on each of the product pages. The asset catalog that we build allows some items to require contact information to view them and allows items to be shared with some of our other localized sites. All of the analytics are hooked up to this so we can gauge what paths driving intelligent sales/conversions.
On the back end we set up a application server cluster with replicated databases. All redundant and running a pressflow distribution of Drupal.
Working with a development team is a blast. So fun to see everyone in their zone.
